Dr. Erin Brophey Patton graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology. She then moved to Charleston and earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). After dental school, Dr. Patton pursued her passion with orthodontics by completing a three year postgraduate orthodontic residency at MUSC where she received her master's degree in science of dentistry and her orthodontic certificate. Following residency, she practiced for five years in Charleston before moving to Florence and joining with Drs. Welch and Bonds. She is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society (OKU), the American Association of Orthodontics (AOO), American Dental Association (ADA), South Carolina Association of Orthodontics (SCAO), and several state and local dental associations.
Dr. Patton and her husband, Will, reside in Florence with their two daughters Emily Anne and Natalie. She enjoys spending time with family and traveling to new places.
